The client ID Projectt used our Amboise Series, Gold colour in 60x90x20 mm, in the patio and swimming pool of a Provençal villa in Luberon.

This series takes after a French limestone which blends perfectly with the lush gardens typical of the Mediterranean scrub, among bright colors and scents of lavender bushes, rosemary, sage and other aromatic herbs. With its characteristic nuance, Amboise maintains the rustic feel typical of ancient Provençal estates, moderated by the rounded and antiqued lines of its rectified “Chipped Edge” edges. Particularly interesting is how our series, laid in the patio, combines with great tonal and material harmony with the local natural stone used in the poolside.

The Grip R11 A+B+C  surface of our outdoor materials allows this type of product to be installed in gardens, terraces and around swimming pools without the risk of slipping.

The antiqued edge, which is the result of an exclusive Sichenia process, recalls and enhances the material irregularity . The light three-dimensional microstructure effect favors a lived-in effect, maintaining the elegance of the environments. 

The characteristic of the Grip finish is to be anti-slip, therefore particularly suitable for floor applications in damp or wet outdoor spaces and is available in two thicknesses, 10 and 20 mm.

On the occasion of Cersaie 2023, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings, Sichenia’s booth is renewed with new spaces and collections.

Opening the doors of the booth is the P_arkett series, which narrates the journey of Sichenia’s Creative Laboratory from the search for the most natural wood essences in Austria to the development of a range of elegant, contemporary products with bright and vibrant colors.

The collection stands out for its dual finish: Satin and Soft Grip. The former imparts a reflective appearance, reminiscent of the oiled wood effect. The Soft-Grip technology keeps the surfaces soft to the touch while providing high technical performance for slip resistance.

In addition to P_arkett, there is a preview of 2024: Prestige, a new interpretation of marble, extremely elegant and featuring innovative 3D technology.

From wood, we move on to a project that gathers various material inspirations. Glam Project is born from the desire to have flooring and wall covering materials that can be easily matched with each other and capable of creating aesthetic solutions for all spaces.

The color, modulated across different tones and materials, intensifies the contrasts and, together with them, gives life to a world where tradition merges with modernity.

Con_crete & Art by Sichenia

The third room is a celebration of the essential lines of concrete and wall decorations. In this area, we wanted to celebrate the evolution of the urban look, enriched by suggestive textures reminiscent of nature, a blend where elegance and modernity coexist in perfect harmony.

Particular importance has been given to the Atocha decoration, a three-dimensional wall covering that becomes a decorative element, elegant and capable of conveying style and design in every space. The reliefs lend themselves to suggestive plays of light, creating sophisticated atmospheres.

The heart of the booth is represented by Pavè delle Alpi, a modern reinterpretation of Pavè that has represented Sichenia in the world for 30 years.

This collection draws inspiration from the intense variability of sought-after stones and offers versatile solutions for both indoor and outdoor spaces.

With this collection, Sichenia introduces an important technological innovation: Stucco Facile. It’s an innovative system that allows for the creation of surfaces where the individual tile module becomes invisible after installation. In the Pavé delle Alpi wall, the pebbles come in various sizes and shapes, creating the effect of a real stone wall.

I progettisti, hanno scelto di utilizzare i materiali Sichenia per rivestire diverse aree della struttura, per un totale di quasi 36.000mq.

Coverings 2023 hosted exhibitors from over 30 countries, showcasing ceramic surfaces, natural stones, equipment, machinery, and other sophisticated and technologically advanced tools. Over 20,000 participants from all segments of the industry were able to connect with exhibitors to explore and discover the latest trends in what is considered the most significant exhibition in the North American tile and stone sector.

In this context, Sichenia showcased the “GLAM PROJECT,” a collection of trendy stylistic solutions and various material inspirations. It represents a new aesthetic stimulus applied to ceramic surfaces.

The color, varying in different tones and materials, enhances the contrasts and, along with them, creates a world where tradition merges with contemporaneity.

The designers from the ADR Architects architecture studio chose to use Sichenia materials to cover the bathrooms of the property, totaling nearly 10,000 square meters.

They selected the Block series, capable of conveying the “urban” charm of concrete, in the color Powder in 60x120cm.

Elegant and understated, it creates bathrooms with guaranteed success.

How to ensure optimal technical performance and durability? This is where porcelain stoneware comes into play, used and loved by professionals and individuals for its numerous advantages.

The wide range of formats, various types of edges, and different thicknesses allow for finding solutions perfectly in line with modern stylistic and design needs.

Amboise is designed to meet all stylistic needs, offering three edge options (Straight, Chipped, and Vintage) and four surface finishes (Smooth, Soft-grip®, Lappato, and Grip).

Slabs with perfectly linear rectified edges created to obtain an ideal surface effect in modern
settings, and characterized by a surface finish with Soft-Grip® R10 A+B technology.

The ground edges are rounded and antiqued, the surface is soft. The light three-dimensional
microstructure effect favors a lived-in effect while maintaining the elegance of the rooms.

The edges are highly irregular and antiqued, the surface is soft and pleasant to the touch. Vintage is an industrial process that simulates random hammering on the edges in order to break them and generate tiles that are different from each other.

The slabs with rectified edges give a more elegant and contemporary look. These edges come with two finishes: Soft-Grip® and Lappata.
The Soft-Grip® finish remains soft to the touch but, at the same time, gives high performance in terms of slip resistance, both for indoor and outdoor environments.
Sichenia’s technical laboratory has also verified the high surface resistance to trampling of this surface, comparable to class U4 according to Cahier CSTB 3778_V4 10/2020.
The honed finish is reflective and enhances the natural color of the collection, giving brightness and an elegant appearance to the environment.
A special feature of this edge is the size 40×120 20mm, perfect for covering low walls or outdoor steps.

The antiqued edges are the result of an exclusive Sichenia process, recalling and enhancing the irregularity of the material. The authentic feeling of a floor covered with a stone-inspired material with antiqued edges is also improved by the multi-format installation and its rich chromatic variations.
The chipped edge offers two finishes: Smooth and Grip.
The Smooth finish, soft to the touch and slightly reflective, further enhances the innate shadeshading aspect of the collection. The characteristic of the Grip finish is that it is non-slip, therefore particularly suitable for floor applications in damp or wet outdoor spaces and is available in two thicknesses: 10 and 20mm.

The edges are characterized by a strong irregular aged effect whose charm refers to a heritage and rustic style.
The look of a stone consumed by time and wear is updated by a single 60×90 size, conceived to answer the stylistic needs of contemporary design. Ideal for welcoming and, at the same time, elegant and modern environments, it pleases the eye with the three-dimensionality of the shapes.

Sichenia has provided 17,000 square meters of porcelain stoneware to cover the floors and walls of the prestigious LYS Center, located in Kinshasa, bringing the excellence of Italian-made ceramics to one of the major African metropolitan areas.

This is an ambitious and distinctive project, consisting of 11 floors, where Sichenia surfaces become an integral part, combining aesthetics and high technology. LYS includes a 2-story commercial gallery with shops and 3 floors of offices. The remaining 6 floors are dedicated to 18 residential apartments with an exclusive outdoor pool on the top floor.

The impressive rooftop outdoor pool has been covered with Silvis wood-effect porcelain stoneware in Mahogany 20×120 cm, totaling 500 square meters.

To cover the nearly 10,000 square meters of apartments and offices, the goal was to approach the beauty of marble, opting for Calacatta (in 60×120 and 15×15 cm).

In the gallery shops, 4,000 square meters of Cedar Stone in 60×120 cm were used for the floors, and for the walls, 1,000 square meters of Marfil in 30×60 cm were paired with 1,000 square meters of Travertino Silver in 30×60 cm.

Finally, the remaining 500 square meters of outdoor flooring were covered with Block in the color Grey in 90×90 cm. Thanks to its 2 cm thickness and special grip finish, the collection offers exceptional durability and resistance for outdoor spaces, both public and private.
